Town centre intersections to be improved in association with redevelopment: Potash Terrace - crossroads and a pelican crossing. Solent Road - proposals to bring Selborne Road through and improve the capacity of the junction. Harts Farm Way - existing pedestrian and cycle routes to be completed, giving a route back to the town centre.
 

Improve highway sites where there are recurring casualties

Programme of road surface dressing and work carried out by the Casualty Reduction Partnership reduced all road casualty figures in 2004.
