What We Did (to January 2007)

Increase the number of jobs in the borough by 1300 by 2008, through:
  • developing the Council’s former Depot site

  • Former Havant Depot Site (now Site Four – Dwyer plc) now under development, following completion of Harts Farm Way, new A27 “Tear-drop” Junction.

 

  • bringing forward Phase 1 development of industrial units at Dunsbury Hill Farm

  • Development Programme under discussion with partners, including Portsmouth City Council (landowners).
  • completing the development of industrial units at Penner Road.

  • 15 Industrial Units completed - with 263 jobs achieved
  • (also, Furuno plc unit development due to commence).

Encouraging the development of knowledge-based and value-added businesses.
