What We Did (to January 2007)

Develop Youth Council to represent all schools and groups, by 2005/06.

Originally 22 members of the Youth Council, from schools. Representation now around geographical areas - currently around 35 active members with a focus on teambuilding and activities such as attending Community Boards and participating in Local Democracy Week, the Hampshire County Youth Council and the UK Youth Parliament.
 
Be actively delivering citizenship education in all secondary schools in the borough, by 2007. Havant Borough Council
Since 2005 citizenship education delivered in every school in the borough, now focused around local government (involvement in decision-making processes).
 
Deliver, in partnership with other youth agencies, 3 community engagement involvement projects a year, by 2006.

Street Sport very successful during 2006 with over 3000 young people taking part.  ArtWorks workshops also took place involving young people across the borough.
