What We Did (to January 2008)

With other local authorities in the Partnership for Urban South Hampshire (PUSH), produce a draft Sub-Regional Spatial Strategy for consultation in 2005 as part of the South East Plan                     
 
Partnership of Urban South Hampshire
(PUSH) Partners       

Sub-Regional Spatial Strategy prepared and submitted to South East England Regional Assembly.  Final approval awaits Secretary of State’s decision.  Work now progressing on a wide range of initiatives to prepare for implementation of the strategy.

 

Secure approval by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for the Sub-Regional Spatial Strategy for South Hampshire (which will broadly reflect Havant’s aspirations) by June 2005

Secretary of State’s approval awaited (see comment above).  Havant’s Local Development Framework being prepared to reflect emerging Sub-Regional Spatial Strategy.
