Havant Borough Council/Havant Council of Community Service

The gap between Havant Unemployment rate and Hampshire’s has remained constant over the last 5 years, reflecting that this has been a period of "full employment” (ie under 3% of the working-age population unemployed).

Jan 2008:
Havant 2%
Hants 1%
UK 2.2%.

(Note: this is despite significant inward migration of manual labour from the European Accession States).
